How fast is your pitch?- Landing Page Design

By Ivan Andrianko

How easy do you do you make your text on your readers in your Custom Landing Page design?

Check out these 5 tips to a quicker delivery of your articles, advertisements, and everything readable. People will not even realize what you did when they get to the bottom.

1)Simplify

This basic tip is thrown around a lot, but the truth is that it is the most important. Although you may consider your Landing Page design to be optimized for this, how do you know for sure?

Well, your in luck, there actually exists a method of measuring how easy it is to read your writing. You should be using this formula to double check all your online scripts before they hit the web.

Rodulph Flesche's way to measure how easy something is to read:

1. Count the words

2.Sum up the syllables

3. Sum up the sentences

4. Average out the syllables to word ratio

5. Average out the words to sentence ratio

This is the math equation you will use:

RE = 206.835 - (1.015 x Average words per sentence) - (84.6 x Average syllables per word).

If you don't like math, don't stress. Microsoft word as well as a wide range of services online can do it.

The result will be a number, anywhere between 1 and 100. 100 being the best, meaning that your text can even be read by an eleven year old.

Whereas a score of one signals that your text is of a university difficulty. (BAD!)

2. Using "You's" and "I's"

Try and use as many pronouns as possible. the two most important ones being "I" and "You".

This is what separate's Mass appeal from personal appeal, which is considered the more effective method when dealing with consumers on your Custom Landing Page .

3. Keep those eyes moving

If you ask a question, and them answer it yourself in the next paragraph, you will deliver information quicker and cut back on precious time.

4. Don't let them think

Instead of phrasing things like this: "Do you want the best ways for getting more traffic straight to your Landing Page design ?"

Word it out using a little more specifics, like this: "Traffic delivered straight to your site using John does proven method".

5. Dumb it down for smarter marketing

You don't need to be a verbal gymnast to sell products. The more you educated you need to be to understand what you are saying, the less effective your landing page design is, keep it simple stupid.

If you do this, you will be reaching people of all levels of education, resulting in a boost of conversions.

Conclusion:

99% of marketers on the internet, know "theoretically" that it is better to not complicate things and appeal to as many people as possible, but most don't actually apply this knowledge. Do you?

With the formula I showed you, go back and test your landing page's "easy to read" score. Anything above 80% is acceptable. If you don't meet the mark, go and fix it up so that you do. You'll notice the change where it counts.
