Chief Financial Officer Resume Writing Tips

The chief financial officer, CFO for short, is a really challenging position that requires you to foresee the record keeping and the financial planning of a company.

To help employers realize if you're the right candidate for the job, a good resume will definitely do the job.

On the top and on the first page of your resume should be your name, phone number, email and address.

The key body of your resume should showcase your career profile. This section should specify any of you professional licenses that pertain to the job you are applying for. The career profile should also point out any position you have held with executive commitments.

The second part of your finance resume is your work experience. The jobs need to be arranged in reverse chronological order, beginning with your most current position. Attempt to give more attention to your last jobs. Your job as a cook at a fast food place during college shouldn't be the focus of your career profile.

To show off your managerial experience even farther, you should also include comprehensive details about these jobs, particularly the last three. To do that, prepare a paragraph about each job, totally detailing your job responsibilities.

Then, the following part should show your degrees and licenses. In this portion, you want to list your degree, including any distinction you may have won and how long you studied. You also have to supply any state registration you have as a C.P.A, practicing attorney, for example.

The final part of your resume should be about your professional and civic affiliations. This section should mention any of you pro and community memberships.
