Ceiling Fans With Lights Attached To Them: Handy, Nice Looking And Simple To Install

By Josh Ravisky

I do not know about you, but I do love my ceiling fans. The only room in the home that doesn't have one is the bathroom! Seeing as how the normal fan is in the center of your ceiling, there was a time, which meant you couldn't put a light there. Thus you then had to go out and buy a lot of lamps. And for a while, someone thought that putting the light above the blades was a fantastic idea. But we all suddenly learned that wasn't the case, as the blades caused shadows and when on the room seemed to flutter.

Now though, a ceiling fan with light equipment is common place. The commonest, is the one with many arms, each with it's separate bulb at the end. That made a whole new market of specialty bulbs. And even with the globes over the bulbs, many still show and they now make fancy light bulbs. And lets discuss about the globes.

That's an endeavor all it's own. There're as many globes out there as there are fans. Certainly, you need to make certain that you are using a bulb which fits the fan. And if you want to use the new energy efficient bulbs, they are a little bit longer, and many globes doing cover the whole thing.

Did you purchase a fan without a light and now you are wishing you had bought a ceiling fan with light equipment? Do not fret. Most fans, even if they don't have lights on them, have all the wiring in the case ready to add one on. You will obviously wish to check that before you go light shopping. And though most of the fans are universal, many are not, therefore check what you fan will and will not accept.

Beyond that you simply use a screw driver and join few wires, keeping in mind, naturally, to kill the power in that part of the home before you start.

Now it is easier than ever to have a ceiling fan with light fixtures in your house.
