How To Maintain Your Weight Even During Summer Parties

By Sue Hamrick

Warmer weather means smaller clothes. Swimsuits, shorts and tank tops can be your worst enemies if you haven't been getting regular exercise for a while. So you should start working out right away.

But during the summer, there are so many parties, events, and food. How can you keep up with all the craziness and still stick to your careful plan to slim down?

Here are a few tips to help you stay on track and still enjoy the party.

Eat something before you go. Have a decent meal before you hit the scene so that you don't feel tempted to indulge in foods that don't fit into your diet.

Choose the fruits and vegetables. Just go with the crudits and forget about the dip and potato salad.

Fill up the tank with liquids. Drinking water or iced tea will keep you feeling full so you won't ruin your diet. Try bringing some Carb Crusher lemon-flavoured bottled tea to your next party.

Carb Crusher tea contains GCA, green unroasted coffee beans that inhibit the release of sugar into your body, which would then cause the fat-burning process to start even when you are not eating.

Avoid standing near the food. Keep you distance so you won't be tempted to try this and that.

If you must eat, put your food on a smaller plate. A smaller plate will give you less calories than a dinner plate.

Try to exercise a little. Hit the dance floor if there is one. You can burn your dessert off if you dance for 2 hours.

Keep your eyes forward and your mouth moving. If you concentrate on the person you're talking to and don't eat at the same time, there's less chance of overeating without thinking.

Don't eat more than you want to. If your well-meaning hostess has filled up your plate, put it down and walk away. You shouldn't force yourself to eat more than you want to.
