Wild Planet Hyper Dash - Fun Toy To Help Kids Learn

By Ledley Withenshaw

In combining both educational and physical activity, the Wild Planet Hyper Dash game is a fun game for the entire family. Children from six to eleven can play the game as well as adults. The game promotes learning, memory, and physical activity that many children are missing on a regular basis.

An easy to handle controller provides verbal commands audibly and clearly through the micro-processor that is built into the base of the controller. There are buttons to select the mode and level of play on the handle of the controller. The game includes five numbered disks that each contain a receiver for the game. These disks can be hidden throughout the play area up to 100 feet from the controller. When the player retrieves the correct disk in response to a command from the controller they receive scores. The system also times the player. So, the game can be played using points or time to make it more exciting. When the disks are placed several feet apart during the micro-dash level of the game, players must retrieve the disks very quickly and get a lot of active play.

The Wild Planet Hyper Dash game is set up so that it can be played by individuals or groups of up to 8 people. These people can play in pairs or as teams. The controller keeps score and times so that everyone knows where they are at in the game at all times. This is a unique and fun way to increase physical activity in a home and add to a child's educational skill level. Hyper Dash offers fun for the entire family and a way to increase the activity level of both children and adults.

For many young children learning primary colors is an important part of early education. The level one mode teaches children yellow, green, blue, red, and orange. As the colors are called by the controller a child must select the corresponding disk and retrieve it. The child then gets points for the correct disks chosen. The colors are called randomly so that a child develops both their learning and memory skills.

Numbers are another important part of early education. The Wild Planet Hyper Dash game has a level that randomly calls out the numbers one through five. Children must find the correct disk and receive points for the correct disk and length of time it took them to find the disk.

The Wild Planet Hyper Dash level three is a memory game that includes different commands from the controller. Players may have to complete double strikes by getting two disks in order. Or, the command may be to get double reverse which will mean getting two disks in reverse order. The memory level increases in difficulty as players must find disks in an allotted time.

Wild Planet Hyper Dash's hardest level involves addition and subtraction. Players solve these problems and retrieve the disks that contain the answer to the problem. The problems can involve answers up to two digits and players must retrieve the disks in the order of the answer. When the disks are also hidden throughout a room, this involves both being able to solve a problem quickly, but also finding the appropriate disk or disks that have been hidden.
