Tips For Renting An Outdoor Movie Screen

By Tim Dalton

Every summer, we have a contest in our neighborhood, to see who is able to spend the least amount of money organizing a fun and exciting group event. This is a good way to bring families closer together. Most people have tried block parties and potluck dinners.

Those types of events are fun, but they are not really extraordinary. This year we won the contest. We were able to get even more votes than all of the other participating families combined together. I bet you are wondering what we did to make such a big impression.

It paid off, as we won the competition by quite a wide margin, something that has not been done before, or at least not for a long time. We have to really appreciate all outdoor events in these parts on a nice summer's evening.

It was very simple to find a family movie to play outdoors. Renting a big screen was the very best idea. We were able to create this outdoor movie theater by renting a projector to shine on a bed sheet that we hung on the back of our house.

It was not expensive at all and everyone loved it. We are probably going to end up doing this a few times each summer from now on. You is able to easily have an exciting neighborhood party with the help of a movie projector.

All that I had to do was connect the projector to my laptop computer, then with one click, the movie started. You do not have to be a technical wizard to use this equipment. There are no hard skills to learn. Everything is very easy. I am very glad of that, because I am not that good with technical things. This just made me look such as a pro.

My children really loved the outdoor movie night that we created. They keep asking for us to do it again. Once it starts getting colder here, it is just as easy to show the film indoors as outdoors.
