When my son was born, it was by far the best day in all my life. The responsibily of being a parent and keeping him happy kept on running through my head.
Being a first time dad, I really wanted to make sure that I would be able to document all of the milestones in his life- his first tooth, smile, words, and the like. I would do this by taking photos and videos and keeping a diary of sorts.
When it was Christmas time, not only did I have friends and family over and get lots of presents but to make things really memorable, I personalized his very first stocking.
Because I do tend to get a tad bit OC about stuff like that, my child's first Christmas stocking was one important thing. As long as it is done correctly, it will be able to stand the test of time and his first stocking may and very well be his last. So I definitely wanted to take the time to find the absolute perfect one for my son, or to have one custom-made, which is what I actually ended up doing.

Plus, because you can find most of these stores on the internet, you cna have it made pretty much any time of the year. In fact, this was one of my main considerations when choosing a store.
I wanted it to be ready as early as possible just to make sure that when Christmas time comes around, it would be right there.
Other things that I checked out before ordering my baby's first Christmas stocking from a particular website included the quality of materials used, the length of time the store had been operating, detailed pictures of previously made stockings, and testimonials from satisfied customers.
I also looked into the price, however, it was not as important as what I had just mentioned. I wanted my baby's first Christmas stocking to be special, and I was willing to pay nearly any price to get just that!
so finally, after hours of searching on the web, I found just what I was looking for. I gave them a ring and the owned promised that everything would be just perfect.
So I then told her everything I wanted and how I wanted done then all I could do was wait for the stocking to arrive.
When the finished product arrived, it took my breath away! His first stocking, being as beautiful as it was, was sure to be around for a really long time. I can't wait for the holidays to get here so we can hang it up by our fireplace.
